This vacuum cleaner is impossible to assemble, falls apart, requires a degree in rocket science to convert from canister to stick vac and sucks (pun intended) on carpet. Returing this stupid machine as soon as I can.

I was all excited about my new vacuum cleaner. It seemed like a good idea– with 20% off at BB&B, i thought $80 for a nicely reviewed vacuum that had 3 different modes was a great deal.
Boy was I wrong…This vacuum is fine for doing wood floors, but it’s horrible for carpets. Plus it’s absolutely impossible to operate when you’re trying to transition between the hand canister mode, the upright mode, and the dustbuster mode. I dread having to use the cleaner because it takes me at least 5 minutes to interchange between the modes, which I have to (more on that below). I’m a pretty handy girl, but I have to relearn how to do it every single time. It’s very non intuitive, with various latches and whatnot. To make it worse, the dust canister that keeps all the dirt you’ve just vacuumed up is EXTREMELY easy to come apart (it only takes a mere 1/2-inch slide to the left) so multiple times as I”m trying to change modes, the canister will just fall off and the dirt/dust will fall everywhere. Even when I”m trying to empty it, it’s extremely unwieldy, and I end up having to revacuum the dust/dirt that’s fallen all over the floor (if it’s not all over my hands).
Aside from the difficulty changing modes, emptying the canister, and the dust getting everywhere, the vacuum barely has enough suction to do even a light pass on my low-pile carpet. I have a cat whose fur gets everywhere, but running the vacuum over the carpet does absolutely nothing. I’ve had to switch to the canister mode and use the pet fur nozzle attachment (which, in turn, will undoubtedly take 10 minutes to figure out and detach all the inserts and knobs, etc, spilling dust everywhere in the meantime), and get on my hand and knees to vacuum out every little bit of fur that’s on my carpet using the pet hair vac.
For an 80$ product I assumed I wouldn’t be combing over each inch of carpet on my hands and knees in an attempt to even pick up a little bit of fur. will not be buying again and wishing I could take this back to BB&B.

I bought this vac for my wife and she’s about ready to chop it into little pieces. Or throw it out the window. Or just break down in tears half the time. It falls apart constantly BECAUSE of its ‘innovative’ design for multi-vac uses. It has no balance and is constantly falling over, and apart, when she is trying to use the attachments. The attachments themselves aren’t very useful and the configuration of where the pieces, as well as the power switch, are placed are not very well thought out. The hose is too short for her to reach the top of drapes or even do a long cushion without having to drag the vaccuum around with her. You only have sixty days to turn in the warranty, even if you do have a receipt, which we missed out on because of our busy lives. It does have good suction and picks up animal hair very well, but in the end its more hassle than it is anything else.

While the Euro-Pro Shark NH15 has good suction, it is a bit awkward to maneuver… maybe it’s just me… guess I should read the manual?

I really wanted to like this vacuum, but have never been more disappointed with a product in my life.
After only a week of owning it and using the pet hair attachment three times,it no longer works. I have 3 large dogs and 2 cats so that attachment was the main reason I bought it.
The hose isn’t long enough to be of any use,so forget the other attachments being easy to use.
Yes,it has great suction as long as all you want to do is pick a few things up off the floor, but then again, the “easy swivel steering” is anything but easy. I would of been better off just using a shop vac.
My husband tried to talk me into another vacuum but I was determined to get this one. Boy,am I regretting that decision ! Now,I have to tell him he was right AND go out in search of another vacuum. I should of just thrown the money in the garbage can, because thats where the multi-vac is going.
